Every instructor on InstaSwim must pass a criminal background check, confirm their identity, complete safety and conduct training, and submit current CPR documentation before they can accept a single lesson through the platform.
What every instructor completes first
Unlike instructors found through classifieds or social media, every InstaSwim instructor completes each of these steps before they can accept a lesson through the platform.
Completed through a professional third party screening provider before an instructor can accept any lesson. Instructors who do not pass are not activated on the platform.
Every instructor confirms their identity through our third party screening provider, and the background check is run against that confirmed identity. Instructors cannot accept lessons until both are complete.
Every instructor completes InstaSwim's Safety & Conduct Training and must pass the assessment before their profile can be activated.
Every instructor submits documentation of current CPR training before activation, kept on file with their platform profile.
Every active instructor participates in InstaSwim's group liability insurance program, with commercial general liability coverage of $1,000,000 per occurrence.
For any lesson involving a minor, instructors agree that a parent, guardian, or authorized adult must be present at all times.
