Experience and teaching history are provided by the instructor. Instructors are independent contractors, not InstaSwim employees. Every instructor you can be matched with has been background checked, keeps a CPR and First Aid card on file, has finished InstaSwim's safety and conduct training, and has signed the contractor agreement. These are eligibility steps, not an endorsement. Review your matched instructor's profile before your first lesson.

First splashes with a parent
The youngest Frisco swimmers start with a parent in the water beside them. Short sessions in a calm home or HOA pool focus on getting comfortable, blowing bubbles, floating with support and learning to wait for a grown-up before getting in. A parent stays within reach the whole time.

Building real strokes each summer
Grade schoolers in Frisco usually learn the basics during the warm months, when neighborhood and community pools are open across Collin County. Great guy. My kid ask everyday now of he has swim lessons.
Nathan was so great with both of my toddlers. They were both extremely comfortable with him. He was kind, fun, and patient. Though they are young, we saw tremendous improvements. He also taught us (the parents) so we could continue implementing his teachings and continue practicing between lessons. We definitely recommend him and feel so thankful we got matched with him.
I loved how she made my two year-old son feel really comfortable in the water. He typically is very nervous around new people, but it didn’t take long before he adjusted to her. She was very patient because he was a little scared of the water but by the end of the lesson he was splashing comfortably in the pool.

Talk to the InstaSwim teamCan I pick my instructor?
InstaSwim matches you with an independent instructor based on your location and each swimmer's age and comfort level. You see the instructor's profile before you pay, and you can request a new instructor up to 2 times per package.
Do we need our own pool in Frisco?
Lessons happen at a pool your family arranges: your building's pool, a condo or HOA pool, or a backyard pool. InstaSwim does not own or provide pools. Any pool fees are paid to the pool, not to InstaSwim.
Can a private swim instructor come to our home or building pool in Frisco?
Yes, when the pool allows it. For a building, condo or HOA pool, check the pool rules for guests and instructors first, then set the day and time with your instructor. InstaSwim does not arrange pool access.
Do you offer baby and toddler swim lessons in Frisco?
Yes. Mommy & Me lessons put a parent in the water with babies and toddlers from 6 months, and lessons for ages 3 to 6 work on floating, kicking and breath control. Tell us each child's age when you register so the match accounts for it.
When do I pay?
Registering is free. Once your instructor is confirmed and you agree on a start date, your invoice arrives by email. Packages of 2 or more lessons can be paid in weekly installments.

Rates are per lesson and set for your ZIP code. Packages of 6 and 12 lessons lower the per-lesson rate. There is a $20 registration fee per swimmer, refunded only if no lessons take place.
What if the instructor is not the right fit?
Ask for a new instructor from your Match Hub. You can do this up to 2 times per package, and InstaSwim finds the next instructor for you.

Is there a lake near Frisco where my kids can swim?
Lavon Lake in southeast Collin County is the main swim lake nearby. It is run by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and its designated swim beaches are open April through September. Those beaches are unsupervised and have no lifeguards, so an adult needs to watch every swimmer closely the entire time they are in or near the water.
When is the high school swim season for Frisco swimmers?
Texas high school swimming runs through the winter under the UIL. District certification, regional meets and state meets fall in January and February, with dates set by classification. Many Frisco swimmers book private stroke and fitness work in the fall so they are ready before district and regional meets begin.
Will lessons make my child water safe?
No lesson makes anyone safe around water. Lessons build skills, comfort and good habits. An adult should watch every swimmer, every time, at the pool and near open water.
