Experience and teaching history are provided by the instructor. Instructors are independent contractors, not InstaSwim employees. Every instructor you can be matched with has been background checked, keeps a CPR and First Aid card on file, has finished InstaSwim's safety and conduct training, and has signed the contractor agreement. These are eligibility steps, not an endorsement. Review your matched instructor's profile before your first lesson.

Your building's pool, a condo or HOA pool, or a backyard pool. InstaSwim does not provide pools, and any pool fees go to the pool, not InstaSwim.

Not every family has a pool at home, and that is fine. When the booking app asks about a pool, choose No or Not sure yet, then pick a plan. InstaSwim does not own pools, and any pool fees are paid to the pool, not to InstaSwim.

Lisa has been great so far. We had 3/6 lessons, and she is always in time, having great attitude, and making each lesson so fun for my son! The only small thing I noticed is she sometimes leaves like few minutes before a full 1 hour. We are paying a lot of money for an each hour, I wished she finished the full one hour, not leaving 5 minutes early, which can literally about 10 dollars for us! But overall, every has been going well with Lisa, I would have her to teach my son again even though our 6 lessons are over!

Talk to the InstaSwim teamCan I pick my instructor?
InstaSwim matches you with an independent instructor based on your location and your comfort level and goals. You see the instructor's profile before you pay, and you can request a new instructor up to 2 times per package.
Do I need my own pool in Cumberland?
Lessons happen at a pool you arrange: your building's pool, a condo or HOA pool, or a backyard pool. InstaSwim does not own or provide pools. Any pool fees are paid to the pool, not to InstaSwim.
Can a swim instructor come to my building's pool in Cumberland?
Yes, when your building or HOA allows guests or instructors at its pool. Check the pool rules first, then set the day and time with your instructor. InstaSwim does not arrange pool access.
Is it too late to learn as an adult?
No. Instructors teach adults from first floats to lap swimming, one on one and at your pace, at a pool you choose.
I am nervous in deep water. Can lessons start in the shallow end?
Yes. Tell InstaSwim about your comfort level when you register. Lessons for nervous adults usually start with breathing and floating where you can stand, and move deeper only when you are ready.
When do I pay?
Registering is free. Once your instructor is confirmed and you agree on a start date, your invoice arrives by email. Packages of 2 or more lessons can be paid in weekly installments.
What does it cost in Cumberland?
Rates are per lesson and set for your ZIP code. Packages of 6 and 12 lessons lower the per-lesson rate. There is a $20 registration fee per swimmer, refunded only if no lessons take place.
What if the instructor is not the right fit?
Ask for a new instructor from your Match Hub. You can do this up to 2 times per package, and InstaSwim finds the next instructor for you.
Who are the instructors in Cumberland?
Independent contractors on the InstaSwim roster, not InstaSwim employees. Every instructor you can be matched with has been background checked, keeps a CPR and First Aid card on file, has finished safety and conduct training, and has signed the contractor agreement. Experience is provided by the instructor, and you review the matched instructor before booking.
Which towns near Cumberland do your instructors serve?
Instructors on the Cumberland roster also travel to Greenfield, Indianapolis, Ravenswood, Southport, Fortville and Fishers, within their own travel radius. Type your ZIP above to see the rates for your town.
Will lessons make me safe in the water?
No lesson makes anyone safe around water. Lessons build skills, comfort and good habits. Swim where someone can see you, and never swim alone.
